But they soon fall deeply in love and Frank finds there’s much more at stake than a basic bodyguard job. Can he protect her against her mysterious assassin? The Bodyguard – A smash hit originating from a rejected 1970s movie script

The film version of The Bodyguard was adapted from an original movie script written way back in the ‘70s with soul singer Diana Ross and silver screen star Steve McQueen in mind. But the film was never made, with Steve McQueen rejecting the project because he allegedly wanted top billing. Sixteen years later it surfaced again, with Kevin Costner basing his fine performance on McQueen’s famously moody, dark silver screen persona.
