Cast announced for world premiere of SUPERSONIC MAN

Written and directed by Chris Burgess, Supersonic Man will premiere at the Southwark Playhouse Borough for a limited run beginning in April.

Supersonic Man is a joyous and moving new musical set within the LGBTQI+ community of Brighton.

The cast includes Dylan Aiello (Kissing a Fool), James Lowrie (Bat Out Of Hell The Musical), Jude St James (The Sound of Music), Dominic Sullivan (Young Sherlock) and Mali Wen Davies (making her professional debut).

The production draws inspiration from the remarkable true story of Peter Scott-Morgan, whose journey was featured in the acclaimed 2020 Channel 4 documentary Peter: The Human Cyborg. The story follows Adam, a vibrant and carefree influencer living life to the fullest. However, his world is turned upside down when he's diagnosed with a terminal condition, threatening everything he holds dear, including his relationship with Darryl, the love of his life. Determined to find a new path, the couple embarks on a groundbreaking journey, exploring revolutionary ways for Adam to live — even if it means transforming into a human cyborg.
