About Les Miserables Tickets
Les Miserables description
Enjoy Les Miserables, a moving tale of revolution
Holding the crown as the longest-running musical in the West End, the Tony and Olivier Award-winning Les Miserables has attracted over 130 million people worldwide to see it.
Known affectionately to their fans as Les Mis, this musical is based on the popular Victor Hugo book of the same title. Les Miserables features music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, original text by Alain Boublil and extra material by James Fenton. Telling an epic story set against the dramatic backdrop of a country experiencing a bloody revolution, this superb adaptation thrills audiences and fills the theatre to bursting point every night.
Les Miserables - The story
Les Miserables weaves a dramatic, edge-of-your-seat tale of revolution and romance and has been entertaining audiences since its opening in Paris more than three decades ago. It tells the moving story of the rebellious but reformed character, Jean Valjean, a man who is tormented by a relentless police officer called Javert in 19th century Paris as the French revolution rages all around. It’s heart-breaking stuff, with romantic interest provided by the student Marius who falls deeply in love with Cosette. As Javert becomes ever more of a threat to the rebels, confrontations are inevitable. But love eventually triumphs despite everything...
‘The musical to end all musicals’
A surprising number of songs from Les Miserables have become hits in their own right, independent of the musical, and you’ll adore the show’s endless stream of beautiful ballads and moving anthems. Some of Les Miserables' biggest hits include 'I Dreamed a Dream', 'On My Own' and 'Do You Hear The People Sing?' and 'Bring Him Home'. Often labelled as "The musical to end all musicals", Les Miserables tickets are hot property and the production shows no signs of flagging in popularity as the decades roll by.

So I'm very critical of the shows I have seen and there are many that disappointed me, but this show did not disappoint! The acting was superb - the cast was just so good - I laughed and for someone who never cries in public, I was in tears - as were others around me! The set was exceptional and the singing was heartfelt and just absolutely outstanding! One of the best shows I have seen in London in a long time! Well worth the money. Highly recommended!

I have seen it 4 times and unfortunately this one was the least pleasant. Acting was hectic, Jean Valjean particular illy, and the end not a breathtaking finish as I have known in other representations. The previous one seen in LON as well 4 years ago was a world of difference.

I have always been abject to the idea os watching a group of people dance and sing for two hours plus. However; the show was absurdly fast and so dramatic that it never gave chance for a lapse in focus. The stage burst out of well choreographed actors stepping the boards into what seemed like a film production. The acting along with the drama and choice coordinating costumes made Les Miserables an incredible feast of what your perfect musical ought to be. My main gripe was my own inability to keep up with the story. And, realizing on the last scene was that the actors and production could provide a faultless story so well. Given the scope of each particular scene with the incredible ranges of what is to be considered a complete theater experience; in this one, you can appreciate why this show has never lost any of its remarkable spark. Thank you so much for your professionalism in delivering to us.
