Enjoy Les Miserables, a moving tale of revolution

An astonishing fifty five million people have enjoyed Tony and Olivier Award winning Les Miserables so far, so you’ll be in good company. The show was named the nation’s favourite musical in a BBC poll, it’s one of the West End’s longest-running musicals and it has been thrilling audiences for a quarter of a century. That’s what we call popular!

If you’re new to Les Mis, as it’s affectionately called by fans, don’t be put off by the title. It’s dramatic and tense but there’s plenty of comic relief. Based on the popular Victor Hugo book, Les Miserables features music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, original text by Alain Boublil and extra material by James Fenton. Telling an epic story set against the dramatic backdrop of a country experiencing a bloody revolution, this superb adaptation thrills audiences and fills the theatre to bursting point every night.

Les Miserables - The story

Les Miserables weaves a dramatic, edge-of-your-seat tale of revolution and romance and has been entertaining audiences since its opening in Paris more than three decades ago. It tells the moving story of the rebellious but reformed character, Jean Valjean, a man who is tormented by a relentless police officer called Javert in 19th century Paris as the French revolution rages all around. It’s heart-breaking stuff, with romantic interest provided by the student Marius who falls deeply in love with Cosette. As Javert becomes ever more of a threat to the rebels, confrontations are inevitable. But love eventually triumphs despite everything...

‘The musical to end all musicals’

A surprising number of songs from Les Miserables have become hits in their own right, independent of the musical, and you’ll adore the show’s endless stream of beautiful ballads and moving anthems. The song Bring Him Home is a popular choice for funerals worldwide and songbird Susan Boyle has covered the tune I Dreamed a Dream to perfection. Empty Chairs at Empty Tables is absolutely heart-breaking, On My Own is guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes and Do You Hear the People Sing? is genuinely rousing and exhilarating stuff. Often labelled ‘The musical to end all musicals’, Les Miserables tickets are hot property and the production shows no signs of flagging in popularity as the decades roll by.

You’ll find a broad range of Les Miserables theatre tickets here

The ideal choice for children and adults alike, you’ll enjoy a great choice of Les Miserables theatre tickets through our website, with good availability and the chance to choose your seats before you confirm your booking. We’re your first stop for Les Miserables tickets!

London Box Office customer

Great performance

There as really only one downside to the whole experience - very loud, both music and effects. Other than that, the entire performance was flawless. Even the children's acting and singing was great!

A musical that shouldn't be missed!

Amazing show, my husband came, who normally moans about the seating in theatres and can ruin it for everyone but the show removed any negativity and he enjoyed very much.

London Box Office customer

This production brought me to tears

Having read the book and seen multiple adaptations, I was still blown away by the acting and musicality. The set was striking and effective, especially the barricade! However, this show is fun and accessible to theatergoers who know nothing about it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great night with a fantastic show.

London Box Office customer

Brilliant.

The show was exceptional.

London Box Office customer

magical show

London Box Office customer

Powerful every time.

It’s a long time since I saw Les Mis, but I was equally as affected as I had been then. The atmosphere of the times is well portrayed and the music is powerful and memorable.

London Box Office customer

Best musical since West Side Story

Show was excellent with strong performances by Jean Veljean and Javier. Performance by the adult Cosette was weak.

Spectacular

London Box Office customer

Comparative

I have seen Les Miserables now four times, both here and in Melbourne Australia. The Melbourne production was more dramatic, intense and acting and singing was exceptional. The character of John Valjean in tnis production was very good. I think this is one of the best musicals I have seen.

London Box Office customer

Tear jerking

The show was magnificent. Hard to put into words !! Valjean was by far the best I’ve seen and heard. I wanted to sit through the whole show again. I’m still singing the numbers in my head

London Box Office customer

Amazing as usual

Seen this show 11 times in the last twenty years, I’m a Londoner, but I think that Coursette was amazing as the adult but to change from white to black may have shocked some theatre goers, either all back or all white, that didn’t make sense at all, ?????

London Box Office customer

Absolutely spectacular!

I took my 13 year old daughter. A little concerned she’d struggle to follow the story or indeed withstand a long performance but we were both captivated from beginning to end! Absolutely cannot recommend it enough, memories to last a lifetime and so proud to be part of the standing ovation!

London Box Office customer

My favourite musical

After having seen it after several times it's still a great show. What shall I say, as long as LES MIS keeps on playing and I will go to London, I will buy a ticket to see it.

London Box Office customer

Amazing!

FANTASTIC

London Box Office customer

Stunning musical

Seen Les Miserables three times previously but not in West End. The show did not disappoint. Excellent from start to finish in every way.

London Box Office customer

Innovative staging — smashing performances!

London Box Office customer

Creative

The show is presented as the longest (or one of the longest) musicals. The pace slows down from time to time giving the visitor time to realize that it is too long. On the other hand, singing performance was spectacular. The overall impression from the show was very good.

London Box Office customer

Fantastic show!

London Box Office customer

Powerful. Captivating.

This was my first show in London. I sat dress circle row A. It was fabulous and felt the cast was performing just for me. This tops any shoes I e seen in major venues in the states. Plus such a classic and beautiful story. I loved it!

London Box Office customer

Fantastic

London Box Office customer

absolutely excellent, a must see

Thoroughly enjoyed it although I would try and get the side seats overlooking the stage in dress circle next time. Theatre a little small but seats were reasonably comfortable apart from leg room. Sat in 9 and 10 in D row which was good but unfortunately tall person in front.

London Box Office customer

Amazing! A must see

Absolutely loved it! I laughed and cried . Fabulous show

London Box Office customer

London Box Office customer

Outstanding a must to see

Great production, outstanding all round, great atmosphere, a must to see!

London Box Office customer

Touching

The story is complicated, but nevertheless is easy to follow. Very important right now. Loved everything to the extreme. Singers, acting, composing, not a dry eye in the circle after the show. And the kid. He was astonishing. Thank you so much.

London Box Office customer

Boring

All show is sang, hard to follow the story which is absolutely boring. Left during break

London Box Office customer

Les MIs at The Queens Theater in London

A must see! Cast was phenomenal! Story moves me everytime!

London Box Office customer

powerfull and emotional!

Everything was great! From the seats we could see the whole stage mainly cause the action was in the middle and they also use the vertical space. If you are too tall though (up to 1.93) the legroom may be a problem. Another thing, if you are pregnant or your having heart problems be aware that they have gunshots and they are loud, and it comes from all over the theater even from the back. It could had be nice though to have somewhere the lyrics so we could all sing together, or for better understanding what the actors singing if your not familliar with the play. All and all wonderfull show, great work done by the usage of the stage as a prop (the cyrcle) and the props like the street and barricade being the same thing, great performances, and visual effects!

London Box Office customer

Amazing

I love this show, it is the third time that I have seen it. It is not for the faint hearted so take some tissues! The quality of the performance is outstanding and the music gives me goosebumps.

London Box Office customer
