KING TROLL (THE FAWN) comes to New Diorama Theatre from next month

The world premiere of this dark and otherworldly thriller heads to London for a limited season beginning next month.

King Troll (The Fawn) heads to the New Diorama Theatre from next month.
The play follows two South Asian sisters who are desperate to escape the border regime without losing their humanity. King Troll (The Fawn) will give audiences a dystopian exploration of migrant experiences and all their complexity.
This world premiere production stars Diyar Bozkurt (The Turkish Detective), Ayesha Dharker (Coronation Street), Zainab Hasan (Antigone, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Dominic Holmes (Black Superhero, Royal Court) and Safiyya Ingar (The Witcher).
King Troll (The Fawn) is Sonali Bhattacharyya and Milli Bhatia's third collaboration as writer and director. They first worked together on a Kali workshop and a reading of King Troll (The Fawn) back in 2021, this will be the first full production of the play.
King Troll (The Fawn) will play at the New Diorama Theatre from 4 October until 2 November 2024.
