What is A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE about?
A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE is written by one of the most highly regarded American playwrights of the 20th Century, Arthur Miller. Since it was first performed as a one-act drama on Broadway in 1955, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE has had huge success on the stage, on film, television, radio, and as an opera.
Set in an Italian-American neighbourhood on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge during the 1950s. A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE follows the life of Eddie Carbone, an outwardly straightforward man with a strong sense of decency, delving into issues of masculinity, justice, and the impact of cultural norms.
