Presented by Bill Kenwright Ltd and Paul-Taylor Mills, the studio cast recording has also been released from the show today.
The cast includes Zizi Strallen (Mary Poppins) as Marie Antoinette andRenée Lamb (SIX) as Jeanne, and Travis Ross (Cabaret) as the Cardinal all reprising their roles, and Millie O’Connell (The Cher Show) joining the cast as Nicole. Lila Eccles (Cinderella), Tarik Frimpong (The Drifters Girl), Sunny Lee (Hillsong Carols), Zara MacIntosh (& Juliet), Emma Robotham-Hunt (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) and Manu Sarswat (London Stage Debut) in the ensemble completes the cast.
Following on from a successful UK tour at the start of 2023 and five performances in the West End last September, Cake: The Marie Antoinette musical gives us an insight into one of the most prolific monarchs in history. Bringing together a multi-genre pop score with 18th century France, Cake: The Marie Antoinette retells a story that sparked a revolution.
