Cast announced for A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Alexandra Palace

Mark Gatiss' massively popular adaptation of A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story returns to the Alexandra Palace for a third festive season this year, with the run starting in November.

This year's cast includes Neil Morrissey (Oliver!) as Jacob Marley and Matthew Cottle (Bridgerton) as Scrooge. They are joined by Charlotte Bate as Mrs Cratchit, Michaela Bennison as Caroline, Jacob Daniels as Swing, Henry Davis as Bob Cratchit, Maya de Faria as Swing, Elliot Douglas as Tiny Tim, Michael Mears and the Narrator, Kalifa Taylor as Belle, Mark Theodore as Ghost of Christmas Present and Lance West as Fred. Kalifa Taylor, Mark Theodore and Lance West are all returning to the show following the run last Christmas in Birmingham.
Directed by Adam Penford (Punch), A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story is a production that stays true to the spirit of Charles Dickens' original novel. Filled with Dickensian, spine-tingling special effects, follow Ebenezer Scrooge on his haunting journey through past, present, and future as he confronts the ghosts who seek to redeem him from his selfish ways.
The creative team includes Designer Paul Wills, Lighting Designer Philip Gladwell, Sound Designer Ella Wahlström, Video Designer Nina Dunn, Movement Director Georgina Lamb, and Composer Tingying Dong.
A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story plays at the Alexandra Palace from 21 November to 4 January 2026.
