Michael McKeever's hit Off-Broadway play will make its UK premiere in London for a limited season starting in December.
David Bedella, Joel Harper-Jackson and Liza Sadovy.
The production made its debut at Wilton Manors' Island City Stage in 2015, where it obtained three Carbonell Awards, including Best New Work. Two years later, in 2017, the show made its way to New York and was nominated for an Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Work, returning in 2018. Daniel's Husband has since performed across the United States and around the world.
The London premiere of Daniel's Husband will star David Bedella (& Juliet, Shaftesbury Theatre), Luke Fetherston (Big Mood, Channel 4), Raiko Gohara (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Netflix), Joel Harper-Jackson (Cock, Ambassadors Theatre) and Liza Sadovy (Cabaret, The KitKat Club, West End) will star as Barry, Mitchell, Trip, Daniel, and Lydia respectively.
Written by Michael McKeever, the play follows Daniel and Mitchell, a couple who live a meticulously curated life. They have successful careers, a beautifully appointed home, devoted friends, and a profound love for one another. But when an unexpected crisis jeopardises their bright future, it shakes the foundation of their relationship and tests the strength of their devotion to one another.
Daniel's Husband will be directed by Alan Souza with set & costume design by Justin Williams, lighting design by Jamie Platt, sound design by Sarah Weltman, casting by Arthur Carrington, and artwork by Steph Pyne Design.
It will play at the Marylebone Theatre from 4 December 2025 - 10 January 2026.
