Cast announced for Maggots at Bush Theatre

Billed as an exploration of the importance of human connection, Maggots, which will play at the Bush Theatre from January, is written by Tony Craze Award winner Farah Najib.

Directed by Jess Barton and produced by Jessie Anand Productions, follows a group of isolated tenants who are facing escalating infestations and filth in their building. When the housing association barely lifts a finger to help, the neighbours come together to grapple with their suspicions and fears alone.
The cast will feature Sam Baker Jones (Dear England, BBC), Safiyya Ingar (King Troll, New Diorama), and Marcia Lecky (Anna Karenina, Chichester Festival Theatre).
Joining Barton on the creative team will be set and costume designer Caitlin Mawhinney, lighting designer Peter Small, composer and sound designer Duramaney Kamara, and casting director Fran Cattaneo.
Maggots will play at the Bush Theatre from 27 January - 28 February 2026.
