What is SWAN LAKE about?
Matthew Bourne's SWAN LAKE was first performed at Sadler's Wells back in 1995. The production has taken the dance theatre world by storm, known for its thrilling, bold, witty, and emotive take on Tchaikovsky's work. One of the most notable shifts is the production's replacement of the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble with turned tradition on its head.
