The Barn Theatre's production of Million Dollar Quartet will transfer to London this autumn for a strictly limited season. It will play at the Arts at Marble Arch, filling the slot left by Burlesque the Musical, which recently postponed its London run.

On December 4th 1956, four men walk into a Memphis recording studio and make musical history: Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley are brought together by pure chance for a jam session which will go on to shape the trajectory of rock ‘n’ roll music across the world. In the studio, where egos collide, promises are broken, and dreams are made, these musical legends navigate ambition, rivalry, and fame. What emerges is a soundtrack that will define an era, with classic songs like “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Fever”, “Walk The Line”, “Hound Dog”, and many more.
Stage and screen favourite Darren Day will reprise the role of Sam Phillips, the visionary producer who discovered the sound of rock ’n’ roll, with full casting for the London run to be announced in due course. With a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, Million Dollar Quartet is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin, set and costume design by Libby Watson, lighting design by Alex Musgrave, sound design by Nick Lodge and musical supervision by Lee Freeman.
The production recently played an extended summer season at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester, where it earned massive critical acclaim, with West End Best Friend calling it, “Packed with outstanding musicianship, timeless songs and a cast operating at the top of their game.”
Million Dollar Quartet will play at the Arts at Marble Arch from Friday 4 September until Sunday 6 December, with a press night on Tuesday 15 September.
