The Arts at Marble Arch Frequently Asked Questions
Where is The Arts at Marble Arch, and where can I park?
At Marble Arch, W1H 7DX, at the western end of Oxford Street, with Marble Arch station on the Central line a minute or two away and Hyde Park across the road. This is one of the few central London theatres with real parking attached: the Q-Park at Marble Arch and Park Lane is underneath, and theatregoers get half price for up to four hours with the code the box office publishes. The box office answers the phone from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
How accessible is The Arts at Marble Arch?
The main entrance is step free apart from a 14mm lip, and step-free parking is reached from the Marble Arch side of the car park below — the ramp up from the street is steep, so ask for a hand if you need one. Inside, row A of the front stalls is the only step-free row: every row behind it rises by a step, and the steps in the rear stalls are deeper. Seats are 40cm wide with armrests that lift. All the toilets are step free, and the accessible one is on the right-hand side of the auditorium, the same side as the men's; it takes a radar key, and staff will open it if you do not carry one. Guide dogs are welcome, and an aisle seat suits them best. Access seats are booked through the box office by phone or email rather than online.
Is there a bar or a cloakroom at The Arts at Marble Arch?
A bar, yes — a small one standing in the middle of the open foyer. A cloakroom, no: there is none, and large items cannot be stored, so leave the suitcase at the hotel and keep your coat with you. With about 550 seats the foyer fills quickly at the interval, which is an argument for arriving early and having your drink then.
