What is OTHELLO about?
OTHELLO is a story of race, misogyny, and patriarchy. Some of Shakespeare's most famous characters will be presented in a new way in this production at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. The show will feature two Othellos which will allow audiences to get to know this character in a new light. Having two people play the iconic character will enable focus on the inner turmoil through a physical portrayal of Othello's subconscious and a traditional Othello.
