The show was utterly fantastic. Staging was brilliant which enhanced the story telling. The acting was amazing with principal characters excelling in their craft but especially the children and younger members of the cast. The only negative was the lack of legroom in the theatre itself. I’m not overly tall but my legs were in pain from the lack of room.

This is the best show I’ve seen in years. All the actors were brilliant, the orchestra were fantastic, the singers amazing. ALL the actors had so much energy and put everything into their roles. This was the best Oliver production I've ever seen. It was beautiful! Fagin stole the show. Or did Nancy? Or Dodger? Or the kids? Or little Oliver? Or the Bumbles? Or the Sowerberries? They were all so beautiful, mesmerizing and moving. What a gorgeous piece of theatre. I loved the ending - a vast improvement on Fagin ending up in jail. There was something so terribly moving about this Fagin. A fabulous interpretation. Thank you to everyone. You were all glorious.

It is great to appreciate all of the wonderful music in this show, and the individual character actors were strong, some of the minors were a real stand-out. I felt the production was a tad over-the-top at times - a bit of vaudeville, more than I think was needed. But, all-in-all well spent evening

This was true West End quality. Slick, humorous with great musical support, if a little loud at times. Fagin was terrific. Nancy gave a truly passionate performance of As Long As He Needs Me. A timeless show.

I came in December and since then I’ve been obsess by the recording oh the cast like at a point that I had to come back. I’m a huge musicals fan I’ve always been obsess by a show but not at this level. I had to come back again. And as soon as the show ended I wanted to come back again. 😍

The theatre itself was probably one of the smallest I have been in. I thought the show started slowly but grew into it after the interval as the classic songs (very well performed) gripped the audience more. During earlier parts I felt some low level sexual inuendo was not relevant and certainly not in keeping with the original story. In short a good, safe overall performance but nothing special.

The overall production value was excellent as you would expect a Cameron MacIntosh production to be. Nancy had a magnificent voice. The dancing was superlative -- so all of the kids in the cast were terrific as well. Special shout out to the kid who played Dodger. And the best of all was the person who played Fagin. He had the right amount of campiness, humor and danger. It was particularly funny when he broke the 4th wall with the audience. an overall A+ in my book.

Loved the show - enjoyed Fagin's humour and all the excellent choreography. As a 19 year old in Nairobi in 1961-2 I was Chorus in the show for 8 shows a week for 8 weeks - 1st company to perform it after London.

I really enjoyed today’s performance of Oliver! in London. It was excellent – the music, lighting, and overall production were fantastic, and the actors all gave very strong performances. I especially loved Fagin, Nancy, and the Artful Dodger, though the entire cast was very good. I was slightly confused by the change in the sequence of events compared to the original, but overall it worked quite well. There were a few moments that felt a bit cheeky, with some unnecessary sexy content, particularly involving Mr Blundell and the “Scream” song, which I didn’t feel added much to the show. That said, it was still a really enjoyable performance. The energy, talent, and atmosphere were great, and I would happily go and see it again. A very entertaining and well-performed production we also couldn’t see all of the performance when they were on the platform or coming down the steps or ladders due to the way we were seated and nobody said anything about restricted for you. I’ll definitely get a ticket on the next floor next time.

The show was really a great moment. Considering the previous "Oliver" ( film and Jonathan Price's ), I liked the modern and humorous tone of the show. I was at the first row of stalls,center It was great,specially to appreciate thé talent and involvment of every performers and specially th orchestra conductor and Simon Lifkin. But no one told me, when I booked these seat that I would be, several times, blinded by the top white lights from the cieling of stage. That was, at certain moment, painfull and unbearable. You must inform your costumers.

the show was excellent but the seating was very bad . we sat upper circle on the far right facing the stage three rows from the frontand i had to sit forward and stretch my neck to see . most of the acting was of stage and on the right of the stage .some one needs to sit there to see what i mean.

The show was part of a special weekend in London with my 11 year old daughter, a nostalgia trip for when my own mother brought me to London to see a musical in the early 80s. It was wonderful - great performances, atmosphere, music. I like the traditional decor and feel. maybe the entrance and stairs (we were in the grand circle) seemed a bit shabby but the overall experience was magical. Fagin in particular. (The show was Oliver). Great costumes and set and acoustics.

This is a must see show. In true Bourne style Oliver has two sides one for adults and the other for children . The actors energy was electrifying without a single fault. An excellent production with polished and talented performers. The set with its different levels was outstanding combined with amazing lighting and projection skills. Costumes and the live orchestra were fantastic. Fagan was an exceptional performer along with Bill. Well done to everyone involved this production .
