THE WIZARD OF OZ returns to the West End this summer

The smash-hit production heads to London for a strictly limited season following a celebrated run at the London Palladium and a record-breaking UK and Ireland tour.

THE WIZARD OF OZ will fly into the West End this summer!

The musical will play a limited run of 38 performances only from Thursday 15 August at the Gillian Lynne Theatre.

The cast of THE WIZARD OF OZ

JLS star Aston Merrygold as The Tin Man and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner and Dancing on Ice finalist The Vivienne as The Wicked Witch of the West are both confirmed to return to their celebrated roles.

They will be joined by the principal casting currently featured in the UK and Ireland tour including Aviva Tulley (Book of Mormon) as Dorothy, Benjamin Yates (Jersey Boys) as The Scarecrow, and Nic Greenshields (Love Never Dies) as The Cowardly Lion and Abigail Matthews as Toto (Bleak Expectations).

Further casting is to be announced.

What is THE WIZARD OF OZ about?

Based on the iconic story of L. Frank Baum, THE WIZARD OF OZ follows a young girl named Dorothy who is swept away from her Kansas home by a tornado to the magical land of Oz.
