Jess Morrissey, contributing writer

Originally from Swansea, South Wales, Jess studied Drama and French BA Joint Hons at university. She was heavily involved with both the Dance and Musical Theatre Societies throughout her studies. Whilst on her year abroad in Paris she was fortunate to study Theatre at La Sorbonne Nouvelle for one term. She gained work experience with Canal Plus, then went on to shadow the in-house theatre company, La Compagnie de la Reine at Théâtre Montansier, Versailles.

A keen theatre-goer, Jess critiqued theatre for a couple of years for an online publication before attending drama school in London. Since graduating in 2014, Jess has enjoyed performing in a number of theatre productions, cabarets and films (short and feature-length) and launched her own production company in 2016.
