Cast announced for European premiere of THE JONATHAN LARSON PROJECT

The Jonathan Larson Project is an electrifying celebration of the groundbreaking composer behind musicals such as Rent and tick, tick..BOOM! The show offers audiences a rare and exhilarating window into Larson's creative world, including some unheard songs from the late composer's archives.

This exciting UK cast of West End stars will bring Larson’s early, experimental, and never-heard work to life with bold theatricality and contemporary resonance.

The cast for the production will be formed of Max Harwood (Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Phoenix Theatre), Marcus Collins (Mrs Doubtfire the Musical, Shaftesbury Theatre), Michael Mather (Wicked the Musical international tour), Grace Mouat (Mean Girls, Savoy Theatre), and Imelda Warren-Green (Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder, Ambassadors Theatre).

Alongside the producers and casting director, Rob Kelly, the team are also looking for two cover roles for the show this summer.

The Jonathan Larson Project will play at the Southwark Playhouse Borough from 9 July - 22 August 2026.
