Cynthia Erivo in Dracula at Noel Coward Theatre - Rehearsal images released

The Grammy and Emmy Award-winning and three-time Oscar-nominated actor Cynthia Erivo will star in a brand-new production of Dracula in the West End from next month for a limited engagement.

Following its first staging in 2024, Sydney Theatre Company's acclaimed production will be adapted and directed by visionary theatre-maker Kip Williams, where audiences will see Erivo embody all 23 roles in this bold, one-actor reimagining of Bram Stoker's classic novel.

The production reunites Williams with his award-winning creative team, including Olivier Award-winning designer Marg Horwell, lighting designer Nick Schlieper, composer Clemence Williams and joined by sound designer Jessica Dunn, video designer Craig Wilkinson , and dramaturg Zahra Newman.

Dracula follows English solicitor Jonathan Harker, who journeys to Transylvania to meet with a new client: the mysterious and elusive Count Dracula - an ancient vampire whose nefarious schemes take him to London in search of new blood.

Kip Williams' production will combine live video, prerecorded film, and live performance to create an electrifying and immersive experience for audiences for a limited time in 2026.

Dracula will play at the Noel Coward Theatre from 4 February to 30 May 2026.
