The iconic production, based on the beloved 1987 movie that starred Patrick Swayze, postponed its opening at the brand-new West London venue this autumn.

Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage will begin performances at the Capital Theatre on 16 October 2026.
The new 620-seat auditorium will be situated in the center of Westfield London. Capital Theatre has been designed to be an intimate and adaptable space, ensuring every seat offers a great view for the audience. Visitors can reach the venue easily via the Underground, with Shepherd's Bush, White City, and Wood Lane stations just a short walk away. Additionally, paid parking is accessible at the Westfield London car parks.
Dirty Dancing is a romantic drama set in 1963 and follows the story of Frances "Baby" Houseman, a young woman who falls in love with her dance instructor, Johnny Castle, during a summer vacation with her family.
Featuring a fresh take on the beloved story, script, and music with a live band and a company of over 40 performers, there's also the classic soundtrack of 35 hit songs including 'Hungry Eyes', 'Do You Love Me?' and '(I've Had) The Time Of My Life'.
Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on Stage is a Karl Sydow production in association with Lionsgate and Magic Hour Productions, written by Eleanor Bergstein.
