A KISS ME KATE revival has been announced!
Cole Porter's musical comedy will play for a 15-week run at The Barbican Theatre, starting on 4 June 2024.
The new production will be directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher and will feature a cast of 50 and a full-scale orchestra. Cole Porter's work will be showcased with a book by Sam and Bella Spewack. The KISS ME KATE revival will reunite the producing team members behind Anything Goes and A Strange Loop, which also played at The Barbican.

The cast includes Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) as Fred Graham/Peturchio and Tony Award winner Stephanie J Block who will make her West End debut as Lilli Vanessi/Katharine.
The creative team includes Bartlett Sher as the Director, Anthony Van Laast as the Choreographer, Michael Yeargan as the Set Designer, Catherine Zuber as the Costume Designer, Donald Holder as the Lighting Designer, Adam Fisher as the Sound Designer, and Stephen Ridley as the Music Supervisor.
What is KISS ME KATE about?
KISS ME KATE follows the on-stage and off-stage antics of a theatre company attempting to produce a musical adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. The musical includes unforgettable numbers such as "Another Op'nin, Another Show", "Too Darn Hot" and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare".
