Who’s involved in Les Miserables?

The staged concert involves the stars of the West End cast, including Jon Robyns, Bradley Jaden and Lucie Jones. The full production also stars most of the original company. And the national touring company kicks off again at Glasgow's Theatre Royal in November 2021. All these will take place with the UK government’s latest covid directives at their heart.

The new full production of Les Misérables first took to the stage in January 2020, so it's fantastic to see it back on stage. Jon Robyns plays Jean Valjean, Bradley Jaden portrays Javert, Lucie Jones plays Fantine, Shan Ako is Éponine, Harry Apps plays Marius, Gerard Carey is Thénardier and Josefina Gabrielle plays Madame Thénardier. What a treat!

The full Cameron Mackintosh production is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, inspired by the classic Victor Hugo novel. The music comes from Claude-Michel Schönberg, and it features magical lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer. It has been adapted by Trevor Nunn and John Caird. The Staged Concert is directed by James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy, with the conductor Alfonso Casado Trigo.
