Operation Mincemeat has once again announced an extension at the Fortune Theatre.
The musical which began its life at the New Diorama Theatre in 2019, before selling out runs at the Southwark Playhouse and Riverside Studios, is now entering its third year in the West End this year.
The current West End cast includes Holly Sumpton, Seán Carey, Chlöe Hart, Christian Andrews, George Jennings, Jonty Peach and Geri Allen. They have been recently joined by new members Charlotte Hanna-Williams and Maddie Jackson-Smith to form the Company.
Directed by the 2023 Olivier Award nominated Robert Hastie, Operation Mincemeat tells the true story of a daring World War II deception, where British intelligence used a corpse and falsified documents to mislead the Nazis about the Allied invasion of Sicily. The production is a huge hit with audiences for blending dark comedy with a high energy score.
Operation Mincemeat has extended performances through to 15 November 2025.
