Rehearsal images released for Kristin Scott Thomas and Lily James in LYONESSE

Rehearsal images have been released for LYONESSE, a new play by Penelope Skinner.

The world premiere opens at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 17 October 2023 and runs until 23 December 2023.

What is LYONESSE about?

Kristin Scott Thomas takes on the role of Elaine, a reclusive and talented actress, who disappears in mysterious circumstances. Now 30 years later, it's finally time for her to tell her story. She summons a young film executive, played by Lily James, to her remote Cornish home to assist her with making the comebacks of all comebacks.

But who really controls the stories we tell, and how we get to tell them? Will these women own their narrative, or will it be swept away from them at any given moment?
