Ride The Cyclone will be produced by Kevin McCollum (Rent), Morris Berchard (The Color Purple) and Jack Maple (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Prince Edward Theatre).
The musical, which premiered in Canada in 2008, is a dark comedy story that follows six teenagers who die on a roller coaster and are then offered a chance to live again. One by one, the teenagers step into the spotlight and prove why they deserve a second chance at life. Ride the Cyclone will take audiences on a genre-defying journey through big dreams, dark secrets, and the search for what makes a life well-lived.
The production will be directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee, with further creatives and casting to be announced.
Ride The Cyclone will play at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant from 14 November 2025 to 10 January 2026.
