A new musical - STARRY - The letters between Theo & Vincent van Gogh

Starry The Musical - London There are several different books telling the story of the artist Vincent van Gogh through the letters he exchanged with his brother Theo. Now these wonderful letters, which clearly reveal the artist’s struggles, are going to be transformed into a new pop-rock musical called Starry. A UK Industry workshop has just been announced, from 28th March to 7th April 2022, sealing the deal ahead of a West End run in 2023.

Who’s involved in Starry?

Vincent van Gogh is one of the world’s best-know painters. Like many artists his work wasn’t taken seriously until after his death. He exchanged more than 600 letters with his beloved brother Theo over the years. Theo’s wife published them in 1914 and these ‘intimate windows’ into the artist’s life have been published several times in different books. Starry is the musical adaptation of the brothers’ letters.
