New adaptation of Arthur Wing Pinero's THE CABINET MINISTER announced in London

The Cabinet Minister will run at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 27 September for a limited run.

Directed by Paul Foster who will make his Menier directing debut, stars Nancy Carroll as Lady Katherine Twombley. The full cast will be announced shortly.
Arthur Wing Pinero's The Cabinet Minister is a comedic play that takes on the British political and social elite of the late 19th century. It centres around the financial and social mishaps of Sir Julian Twombley, a cabinet minister, who is struggling to maintain his status while concealing his dire financial situation. A stellar cast will tackle this sparkling story of marriage, blackmail and class where all bets are off.
Joining Foster in the creative is Set & Costume Designer Janet Bird, Lighting Designer Tim Mascall, Sound Designer George Dennis,Composer & Musical Supervisor Sarah Travis and Movement by Joanna Goodwin.
The Cabinet Minister will run at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 27 September until 16 November.
