Hannah Chissick, who is currently directing The Mousetrap's UK and Ireland tour, will be stepping in to direct the West End production, whose new cast will begin performances from 11 November 2026. The new cast includes Marcus Adolphy as Major Metcalf, Jonathan Cobb as Detective Sergeant Trotter, Rosa Coduri-Fulford as Miss Casewell, Dean Graham as Mr Paravicini, Dan Nicholson as Giles Ralston, Jake Rory as Christopher Wren, Gay Soper as Mrs Boyle, and Sarah Twomey as Mollie Ralston.

The new production also features set design by Walt Spangler, lighting design by Nic Farman and sound design by Max Perryment.

The play's historic home, St Martin's Theatre, will also be receiving a refurbishment by Studio Shayne Brady, with redesigned bars and decorative details inspired by the world of Agatha Christie to feature across the Stalls, Dress Circle and Upper Circle. Mr Lyan Studio will also be crafting a bespoke cocktail menu exclusively for the venue.

Producer Brian Fenty said, "Agatha Christie’s genius lies in the extraordinary detail of her storytelling: the wit, the atmosphere and the suspense that have kept generations of audiences guessing. Every element of our investment - from the loving refurbishment of the theatre to the care devoted to the set, lighting, effects and direction - serves her storytelling."

First performed in 1952, The Mousetrap follows a group of seven strangers who find themselves snowed in at Monkswell Manor, a remote countryside guesthouse, as news spreads of a murder in London. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests discover – to their horror – that a killer is in their midst.

A gala performance is set for 25 November to celebrate the play's anniversary. The Mousetrap is currently booking until 18 July 2027.
