TITANIQUE announces final performance date in West End

Titanique will conclude its West End run at the Criterion Theatre in January next year, before embarking on its first ever UK tour.

Co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli and directed by Tye Blye, Titanique is a tongue-in-cheek parody of the award-winning film Titanic, retold with a cheeky spin by Celine Dion. It opened to widespread critical acclaim in January 2025 and went on to win an Olivier Award for Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play, and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Layton Williams.

Myra DuBois is currently playing Ruth until 8 November, with William Hanson set to return for the final eight weeks. They join cast members Ailsa Davidson as Rose, Lewis Francis as The Iceberg, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Freddie King as Jack, Cameron Vear as Cal, Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber / Luigi and Nikki Wheeldon as Molly Brown; with AJ Lewis, Joi Lurrie and Sophie-Rose Middleton as on-stage background vocalists.

The production will then set off on its first ever national tour starting at Theatre Royal Newcastle on 17 September 2027 with Myra DuBois set to star as Ruth on the road.

Titanique's final performance date at the Criterion Theatre will be 3 January 2027.
