Nathan Englander's new serious comedy, based on his acclaimed 2011 short story in The New Yorker heads to the Marylebone Theatre this Autumn for a limited season.

The cast has been announced for What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank which opens at the Marylebone Theatre on 4th October.
Joining the previously announced The Big Bang Theory star Joshua Malina, making his London theatre debut as Phil, will be Caroline Catz (Doc Martin, ITV) as Debbie, Dorothea Myer-Bennett (Leopoldstadt, West End) as Shoshana, Simon Yadoo (Love’s Labour’s Lost and The School for Scandal, Changeling Theatre Tour) as Yerucham and Gabriel Howell (The Unfriend, Chichester Festival Theatre) as Trevor.
The play explores the complexities of identity, memory and Jewish heritage. Set around a conversation between two Jewish couples, What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank delves into the differing ways they relate to their faith and the Holocaust.
What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank will run at the Marylebone Theatre from 4 October - 23 November 2024.
