Pure Expression's 1984 returns to Hackney Town Hall this Autumn

Following their 3 month sell out run last year, the production returns for a 10 week run with a brand new cast and creative team.

Adapted from George Orwell's novel by Adam Taub, the unique theatrical theatre experience 1984 is back!
Heading to the Hackney Town Hall, the show includes a new creative team including lighting by Ben Jacobs, video and AV by Dan Light, sound designer Munotida Chinyanga and Ruth Badila completes the creative team as set and props designer.
The cast will be announced soon.
Brought to life in a site-specific performance in the magnificent Hackney Town Hall, Orwell's iconic novel is reimagined in a unique and powerful reimagining of 1984 for a limited time from October.
1984 will run at the Hackney Town Hall from 1 October - 22 December 2024.
