New adaptation of OEDIPUS announced in the West End

A new adaptation created by Robert Icke will head into the West End for a strictly limited run starting this Autumn.

OEDIPUS will run at the Wyndham's Theatre from 4 October.
Icke's production was originally presented in Dutch at the International Theater Amsterdam and the Edinburgh International Festival.
Mark Strong (A View from the Bridge, Young Vic) and Lesley Manville (The Crown, Netflix) will lead the new adaptation in the West End with further casting and on-sale dates to be announced.

Behind every great man is a great woman.
Visionary Director Robert Icke takes on another Ancient Greek tragedy, OEDIPUS. Sophocles' epic tragedy will be transformed into an essential, explosive human thriller.
