ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST announces full West End cast

Daniel Rigby The full cast of the upcoming West End transfer of ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST has been confirmed.

They will join the previously announced Daniel Rigby and Tony Gardner who will reprise their roles as The Maniac and Superintendent Curry.

An adaptation by Tom Basden of Dario Fo's classic farce, the newly announced company are:

Tom Andrews as Detective Daisy
Mark Hadfield as Inspector Burton
Ro Kumar as Agent Joseph
Ruby Thomas as Fi Phelan/PC Jackson
Understudies: Joe Boylan, Georgina Hellier and Richard Hodder

Directed by Daniel Raggett, this production's contemporary twist on a classic comedy received rave reviews and performed to sold-out audiences in both Sheffield and the Lyric Hammersmith earlier this year.

A sharp commentary on the incompetence and corruption of the police force, the story revolves around the consequences of an anarchist falling to his death from a police station window. As the police scramble to avoid another scandal, a mysterious imposter is brought in for questioning, and before anyone can stop him, he leads the officers in an absurd reconstruction of their official account, revealing the cover-ups and idiocy at the heart of the police.

Opening from 12 June at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, don't miss this strictly limited run as the production's final performance takes place on 9 September.
