Asa Butterworth to make stage debut in SECOND BEST at Riverside Studios

Asa Butterfield will star in the one-man play, Second Best.

Written by Barney Norris and based on David Foenkinos' best-selling novel, Second Best is a fictional story about the boy who came second to play Harry Potter. It is a playful yet poignant new comedy about fate, near-misses and the winding paths life takes.

Directed by Michael Longhurst and with Set and Costume Design by Fly Davis, Second Best stars Asa Butterfield who is best known for his role as Otis Milburn in Sex Education but has also played in other big films like The Boys in Striped Pyjamas, Your Christmas or Mine? and A Brilliant Young Mind.

Second Best will run at the Riverside Studios from 24 January - 22 February 2025.
