From the co-creators of the hit podcast My Dad Wrote A Porno, the cast and creative team have been announced for LoveStuck: A New Comedy Musical.
Jamie Morton will direct Bridgette Amofah (Lovestuck, Workshop) as Cassandra/Miseraie, Marcus Ayton (Lovestuck, Workshop) as Reece, Jessica Boshier (Educating Rita, Menier Chocolate Factory and UK Tour) as Lucy, Johan Munir (Othello, Royal Shakespeare Company) as David, and Shane O’Riordan (Miss Saigon, Sheffield Crucible) as Peter, joined by Ambra Caserotti (Mamma Mia!, UK and International tour), Callum Connolly (Heathers the Musical, UK & International tour), and Holly Liburd (Mean Girls, Savoy Theatre) as the ensemble.
This new comedy musical inspired by true events follows thirty-somethings Lucy and Peter. At the end of their first date, Lucy is found stuck upside-down in his bathroom window - Lovestuck will unearth how they got themselves into this awkward situation and what will happen next. The musical features music by triple-platinum singer-songwriter Bryn Christopher with Martin Batchelar and tackles themes of online dating, toxic social media and crippling self-doubt.
Lovestuck will play at the Stratford East Theatre from 06 June - 12 July 2025.
