Further cast announced for UK and Ireland tour of Annie

Claire Sweeney will star as Miss Hannigan in the UK and Ireland tour of Annie, alongside La Voix, who will star in the musical at select venues. The show will open at the New Wimbledon Theatre in May 2026.

Further casting for the production includes Alex Bourne (The Wizard of Oz, Gillian Lynne Theatre) as Oliver Warbucks, Tanisha-Mae Brown (Brigadoon, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre) as Grace Farrell, Christian Cooper (The Sound of Music, Curve Leicester) as Rooster, and Amber Kennedy (Sister Act The Musical, UK Tour) as Lily St. Regis.
Also joining the company are Jack Buchanan, Harrison Burley, Zoë Canham, Sophie Elmes, Belle Kizzy Green, Issy Khogali, Yujin Park, Elliot David Parkes, Carl Sanderson, Michaela Stern, Matthew Sweet, and Jessica Wright.
With a Tony award-winning book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin, Annie follows the spirited orphan girl who lives in a New York City orphanage during the Great Depression. Determined to find her birth parents, Annie’s life changes when she’s taken in by the wealthy businessman Oliver Warbucks. The show includes unforgettable songs, including ‘It’s the Hard Knock Life’, ‘Easy Street’, ‘I Don’t Need Anything But You’ and ‘Tomorrow’.
It is directed by Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, who also directs Kinky Boots, which is coming to London this Spring. The creative team is completed by set and costume designer Colin Richmond, choreographer Nick Winston, lighting designer Ben Cracknell and sound designer Richard Brooker.
A beloved production with audiences of all ages, the musical made its West End debut at the Victoria Palace Theatre in 1978. Subsequent productions have taken place across the world, with the last touring production in the UK taking place three years ago.
