Dan Patterson and Jez Bond's riotous, laugh-a-minute reimagining of the Dracula story is performing at the Park Theatre this festive season.

Directed by Jez Bond, the cast for Dracapella is led by Ako Mitchell (Disney's The Lion King) as Dracula. He is joined by Oliver Award-winning actors Stephen Ashfield (The Book of Mormon) as Harker, and Lorna Want (Beautiful, The Carole King Musical) as Mina. Taking the role of Lucy is Keala Settle, the Outer Critics’ Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, and the Tony Award-nominated actor best known for her role as Lettie Litz in The Greatest Showman. The cast is completed by Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Ciarán Dowd and TV actor and composer Philip Pope and world champion beatboxer, Alex Hackett, aka ABH.
Follow Harker as he heads to Transylvania to sell a crumbling castle to a mysterious client, but he doesn’t expect to wind up in a love triangle – or is that a square? – involving his wife, her best friend, and one very melodramatic vampire. Dracapella features a score of close-harmony acapella renditions of your favourite jukebox hits, including Queen's "Somebody To Love", with mind-blowing beatbox accompaniment.
Inspired by the gothic classic by Bram Stoker, published in 1897, offers audiences a fantastic alternative show to check out over the festive period with comedy, harmony, and a whole lot of bite.
The show features Lighting design by Simisola Majekodunmi and Sound design by Niamh Gaffney for Autograph Sound.
Dracapella will play at the Park Theatre until 17 January 2026.
