Dracapella in London
In this irreverent, satirical retelling of Bram Stoker's Dracula, estate agent Jonathan Harker sets off to Transylvania to sell a castle and finds himself caught in a confusing love square between his wife, her best friend, and a mysterious, melodramatic vampire. As the wickedly witty Count Dracula searches for his lost love, a ragtag band of unlikely heroes set out to thwarth his evil plans. Hilarity ensues, and a very unlikely story unfolds filled with chaotic encounters, vampire puns, and beatboxing.
Whether or not you're a fan of Stoker's iconic and timeless gothic novel, you won't want to miss the world premiere of this hilarious, madcap parody of the original vampire story created by Dan Patterson (creator of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Mock the Week) and Jez Bond (Whodunnit [Unrehearsed]). A wildly talented cast rip through close-harmony acapella covers of beloved classics such as Queen's "Somebody To Love", The Platters "The Great Pretender" and Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" in this witty, inventive, and utterly unique musical extravaganza.
Witness the story of the world's most famous vampire as you've never seen him before, through a musical comedy that will leave you in fits of laughter.
