Mozart's Così fan tutte will return to the London Coliseum with a fresh new cast, with 7 performances planned in February. Making its debut on the London stage in 2014 and last being revived in 2022, the new production will be directed by the Critics' Circle and Olivier Award winner Phelim McDermott.

Written at the height of Mozart's musical prowess, Così fan tutte made its premiere year before his premature death in 1970. The piece continues to remain a testament to the skill of one of history's greatest composers.
The production will be staged as a co-production with New York's Metropolitan Opera, produced in collaboration with Improbable, an improvisation-based theatre company of which McDermott is co-founder and Artistic Director. Così fan tutte takes audiences through a psychologically deep and satirical look at lust and loyalty.
A comedy, Così fan tutte follows two men who test their fiancées' loyalty by disguising themselves and trying to seduce each other's partners. Along with the help of a scheming friend and a mischievous maid, both of the women eventually give in to temptation.
Starring in Così fan tutte are Lucy Crowe as Fiordiligi, Taylor Raven as Dorabella, Joshua Blue as Ferrando, Darwin Prakash as Guglielmo, Andrew Foster-Williams as Don Alfonso, and Ailish Tynan as Despina. Joining this cast will be a 12-strong skills ensemble who will perform several roles while showcasing a variety of unique talents, including sword-swallowing, acrobatics, contortion, and fire-eating.
The creative team for the production includes Librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte, Translator Jeremy Sams, and Conductor Dinis Sousa.
Così fan tutte will play at the London Coliseum for 7 performances from 6 - 21 February 2026.
