FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS Musical To Make London Premiere With Jenna Russell

The heartwarming musical FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS will be having a London premiere with award-winning actress, Jenna Russell this autumn.
Adapted by playwright Rachel Wagstaff and composer and lyricist Richard Taylor from Paul Gallico's 1958 novella, FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS will play in the capital for the first time, in a brand new production. Award-winning actress Jenna Russell (Fun Home, Les Misérables) will star as Ada Harris in the limited nine-week run at the Riverside Studios from 30 September to 26 November.
The musical was first performed at the Crucible, part of the Sheffield Theatres, during a short run back in May 2016 starring Clare Burt. It won several UK Theatre Awards, including Best Musical, Best Performance in A Musical, and Best Design. Following further workshopping and workshopping and re-writing, FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS was staged at Chichester Festival Theatre where it received glowing reviews. It was also streamed for audiences to enjoy in the comfort of their homes during the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020.
