The multi-Academy Award-winning film has been co-adapted for the stage by Lindsey Ferrentino and Drew McOnie. The production will be directed and choreographed by McOnie.

What is THE ARTIST about?

Set in 1920s Hollywood, the business of making dreams come true is in full swing.

George Valentin is a silent movie icon who has long been the darling of the silver screen when he falls for aspiring actress Peppy Miller. Whilst her career is about to rise, Valentin's may soon flicker out. Beyond the glamour, laughter and romance of the silent movie industry, its on the brink of a revolution.

With the Talkies on their way, George has to make a decision on whether to find his voice in a brave new world or lose everything he holds dear to a bygone era.

THE ARTIST was a multi-Academy Award-winning film and mesmerised audiences from across the world for over a decade. This new stage adaptation is a celebration of silent cinema that will blend cutting-edge theatre-making with the iconic music of the period.
