Full cast announced for MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR at Shakespeare's Globe

Directed by the Associate Artistic Director of Shakespeare's Globe, Sean Holmes, this raucous comedy, which follows Sir John Falstaff as he is outwitted by the two women he seeks to woo, will begin performances next month.

A comedic play by William Shakespeare, The Merry Wives of Windsor, will be performed in the breathtaking outdoor surroundings of Shakespeare's Globe. Watch as Sir John Falstaff attempts to woo Mistress Ford and Mistress Page to gain access to their husbands’ wealth. The women, who are aware of his schemes, join forces to teach him a series of clever and humiliating lessons.

Merry Wives of Windsor will play at Shakespeare's Globe from 4 July to 20 September 2025. Other delights for you to enjoy there this summer include Romeo and Juliet, The Crucible and Twelfth Night.
