Is the Globe Theatre an accessible space?
The Globe offers accessible seating, step-free entrances to parts of the building, lifts to upper levels, accessible toilets, and captioned and signed performances on selected dates.
What time should I get to the theatre?
Aim to arrive 30 minutes before the show starts to allow time for security checks, finding your seat, and exploring the theatre. This also gives you time to explore the merchandise stands inside the theatre for exclusive show-related items like T-shirts, mugs, posters, and cast recordings.
Is there a dress code for attendance?
Once, theatre outings meant formalwear, but that's changed. Now, you can wear what feels good to you. Keep in mind you’ll be sitting for a while, and theatres can get cold, so a jacket’s handy. That said, it’s still a special outing, so dressing up is welcome.
Is food and drink available in the theatre?
There are bars and kiosks in the main building and in the courtyard serving snacks, hot and cold drinks, and light meals. The Swan pub and restaurant is also on-site if you wish to have a meal before or after your show.
