Kirby will take over the role of Fantine from Lucie Jones from 13th April. She is joined by a number of new cast members who recently joined the show, including Harry Hepple as Thenardier, Lizzie Bea as Madame Thenardier, and Jess Folley as Eponine.
Also in the show are Ian McIntosh as Jean Valjean, Sam Oladeinde as Javert, Thiago Phillip Felizardo as Marius Joe Griffiths-Brown as Enjolras and Izzi Levine as Cosette.
Written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, Les Miserables is based on the novel by Victor Hugo. Set in 19th-century France, it follows the journey of Jean Valjean, a former prisoner seeking redemption while being relentlessly pursued by the police inspector Javert. The story weaves together themes of justice, love, and revolution, as Valjean's life intersects with those of other struggling characters during a period of social unrest. It is the West End's longest running and most popular musical, having been seen by over 150 million people worldwide in 55 countries, 452 cities, and translated into 22 languages.
The production recently extended its run by a further seven months to March 2027
