Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest is heading to the stage.
Known for the 1959 film which starred Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, and James Mason; North by Northwest will see the classic thriller to be turned on its head. It follows Roger Thornhill, a New York advertising executive who is mistaken for a government agent by a group of spies. Pursued across the United States, he becomes entangled in a dangerous conspiracy involving espionage, romance, and murder. The film culminates in a suspenseful showdown at the iconic Mount Rushmore. This new production will feature six shape-shifting performers, accompanied by a '50s soundtrack and a LOT of hats.
Further information on the cast and creatives will be announced soon.
North by Northwest will play at the Alexandra Palace Theatre from 11-22 June 2025.
