The Play That Goes Wrong centres on The Cornley Drama Society as they battle against all the odds to make it to the final curtain call of their latest production. Titled 'The Murder at Harversham Manor', the 1920s murder mystery-inspired play, similar to The Mousetrap, but with a plethora of disasters ahead for the cast. It's a laugh-a-minute type of show.
The current cast includes Izzy Edmunds-Clarke as Annie, Jack Hardwick as Chris, Robert Jackson as Robert, Jonty Peach as Jonathan, Charlotte Scott as Sandra, Mitesh Soni as Dennis, Tom Wainwright as Max and Ronnie Yorke as Trevor. Winston the dog* returns to play Winston the dog. (*If Winston is found). The understudies are Alex Blackie, Jake Burgum, Kitty Devlin, Louise Hoare and Ed Shamwana.
The same writers of this unforgettable show will be bringing Christmas Carol Goes Wrong to the West End's Apollo Theatre from 5 December for a limited time.
The Play That Goes Wrong is now extending performances until January 2027.
