The Price follows two estranged brothers, Victor and Walter Franz, who reunite in a cluttered New York attic for the first time in years when they come together to sell their late father's possessions. What starts as a simple transaction turns into a fierce and emotional reckoning, as decades of bottled up resentment, sacrifice, and buried secrets come to the surface. Written in 1967 as a response to the Vietnam War, this Tony Award-nominated play is ripe with Miller's trademark characterisation and searing social commentary.

Olivier Award-nominated Jonathan Munby (King Lear, The Merchant of Venice) directs this blazing new production. Double Olivier Award-winner Henry Goodman (Yes, Prime Minister, Fiddler On The Roof, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui) stars as Gregory Solomon and is joined by Faye Castelow (Leopoldstadt, After the Dance, The Witch of Edmonton) as Esther Franz, Elliot Cowan (A Little Life, Da Vinci’s Demons, Peaky Blinders) as Victor Franz and John Hopkins (Dr Strangelove, The 39 Steps, Poldark, Midsomer Murders) as Walter Franz.

The Price opened to critical acclaim, praised as "a powerful, winding drama" (The Guardian) and "utterly riveting" (The Stage), with the Financial Times saying "Goodman is exquisite in the role." Read our review of The Price.

Marylebone Theatre Artistic Director Alexander Gifford said, "The response from audiences to The Price has been extraordinary and we are delighted to be giving it an extended run."

The Price has extended its run by two weeks, and will now run until Sunday 21 June 2026.
