Robert Lindsay is superb, the show is light-hearted and involves the audience. A real piece of escapism but the sting in the tail is the bar. The drinks were exorbitantly priced and the lack of seating or space was a real shame.

Robert Lindsay shone first class performance. Well done to all the cast and crew fab night at the theatre.

Brilliant!! Not from the London area, and this was the first show I've been to in a long time. There's something for everyone, bits of it were very funny, and the general performance was great. This has made me want to book another trip back to the 'Smoke' very soon!

Robert Lindsey was brilliant and takes the part so well, Bonnie Langford was a treat and all the cast gave a fine performance, a great show I would gladly see again. only downside I personally wanted to see as well Rufus Hound, but Alex Gaumond didnt disappoint.

Fantastic show full of energy and laughter. The whole cast are brilliant, the expressions and interaction between the actors is very enjoyable. Gorgeous guys and girls make it a real super show. Absolute 5 stars.

We really did enjoy the show, the cast, settings and costumes all very good, but we're very disappointed not to see Robert Lindsay appearing in it.

An afternoon of sunshine...I might have known the story...but it was good to spend an winters afternoon with two lovable rouges or was it three ?

I was sceptical how this could be turned into a musical but it worked!! Robert Lyndsay gave an outstanding performance as did other members. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

Well acted, timing impeccable. Particularly enjoyed Lizzy Connolly's performance, and of course Robert Lindsay. Not for young children though.

Laughed all the way through. All the main characters were excellent, funny, witty, loved the singing and dancing and the quirkeyness magnificently led by Robert Lindsey. Probably not suitable for u16s.

This must go down as one of the best shows we have seen in years. The story line is fast and the show never slows up. Watch Robert Lindsay's facial expressions a pure professional.

Robert Lindsay stole the show with his performance but the whole cast were excellent, with some fantastic singing, dancing and acting. Funnier than the film with some hilarious scenes.

Roller coaster of fun. We really enjoyed it. A good comedy with excellent acting and storyline.

Parts were extremely smutty and gratuitous to the story. Quite unsuitable for children and there were quite a few in the matinee audience. Frankly I was quite disappointed at this and not what I expected from reviews I had read. Most of the audience where I was seated seemed to hold the same view. However, the costumes were colourful, the staging good and the dancing very entertaining. Bonnie Langford was by far the best of the 3 main women characters, in my view.

Took my Mum for a treat and she loved it. Seating in the theatre is great, stags can be seen and is well lit, even from the back. Staff were friendly and the show itself was great

The film with the same title staring Michael Cain and Steve Martin is one of my favourite comedies. The show last night reproduced that humour on stage. Brilliant.

There's something in this show for everyone! From Shakespeare, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mackintosh, Gilbert and Sullivan and General Comedy productions - you are guarantee many laughs!

We had a great time - if you want have fun and lighten up your day this is the show to go to. You will come out quite refreshed.

Hilarious

What a show, my wife and I thought that as we had seen the film that there would be no surprises. The show is full of them, an fantastic night out. Only thing that shocked me was £9.50 for a small glass of Chablis, but hey the show was Great

I thought the film was good so always a bit cautious of seeing the play version. Needn't have worried the show was great fun, well acted, funny and lively. The cast were excellent

This was a brilliant show with a difference from the film. We both thought it better. There were sheer genius moments and Robert Lindsay was born to the part. I would recommend to anyone except small children.

This show portrays a myriad of stereotypical rich and famous characters who are charmed by an attractive con-artist. Just when they think they've hooked their biggest catch it ends with a twist.

Great show but seating in circle very cramped Lovely Art Deco theatre but you have to accept seating limitations

Great acting, good music, smooth scenery changes,excellent scenery fabulous stars, wonderful ensomble. A beautiful theatre, lovingly looked after, a pity it was so warm,it was much warmer than the South of France it was more like Hell's Kitchen.

Witty and very entertaining with enough variation to keep even the most ardent fans of the original movie fascinated. I cried with laughter.

Went to the show with my husband and parents and loved it, made me laugh out loud. The only downside was that Robert Lindsay should have been in the lead role which is the main reason for buying tickets for this particular show, however he was absent and it was his understudy who took the lead, which was a little disappointing. However, I must say that his understudy was really good in the role and I still thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

Pity Robert Lindsay didn't take part but the rest were superb. Great show

The show was outstanding, who needs Robert Limdsay, Rufus Hound or Samantha Bond, found out on arrival at theatre they were not performing, felt let down, from the start the cast were all amazing, sheer class, and the ad lobbing just rounded the night off! The scrip, music and the entire cast made it a night to remember, leave the stars at home!

A fun up beat comedy which was very enjoyable. A good lighthearted night out at the theatre! Small intimate theatre that added to the enjoyment.

Hilariously funny, but very crude so not suitable for youngsters I would say.

A wonderful nights entertainment, with great performances. Robert Lindsay did not appear but who cares his under study was more plausible as he had a better look for the part and his performance was faultless. My only critisims, is that the songs were very geenric mucial not much thogh gone inot kinda songs, nothing memorable or something you would humm afterwaards, but overall a fgreat night out

Principals, Lindsay excepted, grossly overacted. Accents poor - one wwa incomprehensible- all were over-amplified, sometimes to ear splitting heights

Loved the show, songs not ones you would leave the theatre singing but you will walk away feeling amused and entertained.

An excellent afternoons entertainment. Full of laughter, colour, music and generally I woulkd recommend this show to all comers.

The show was great and despite the setting being in the past it came off as very current.

We love to take our children to the theatre (now 13) and hoped that this show would work for them as a birthday treat......they laughed all the way through, and enjoyed every minute of it, as did we, parents and grandparents!

It is hilarious and parts have adult humour, we could not stop laughing at the facial expressions which were amazing :-)

Good show although first half was a bit corny and farce like. Second half well worth staying for. Rufus hound excellent Very very disappointed though that the female lead was replaced. Nobody tells you about it even collecting ticket at box office. You only find out via a small notice on the wall. It makes me cross when I have paid 86 quid!!!

Six of us went to see this brilliant show. Thoroughly enjoyed first class performance by a very accomplished cast. Robert Lindsey was amazing as was Samantha Bond. Laughed out loud. There are a few sexual connotations which I would have felt uncomfortable with if we had children with us but the youngest in our group was 21 so not such a problem!! Would see it again.

Absolutely loved this show, everything about it, including venue, only did not recommend for young teenager and families as some bad language in it in parts.

I have seen two performances of this show in the las t couple of years in Melbourne and Sydney and enjoyed both very much. I was disappointed in the London production. I felt the cast could have fine better and got the impression that the two male leads were simply going through their paces of a familiar routine rather than giving their all to the audience. I love this show and left the theatre feeling very let down. I would not recommend this production to anyone.

Everything about the show was great thanks

This was a really good show, could not be with Robert Lindsey in it! All the main characters are good. Possibly not for younger children as there are a few near the mark scenes. A most enjoyable afternoon.

This show was a laugh from start to finish. The actors were amazing and the writing very clever. We loved this show and can't recommend it enough. If you fancy a good fun night .. This us the show for you.

A pleasant romp. Not great for very young people as there is one quite raunchy bit.
