West End star Lee Mead takes to the Adelphi Theatre's stage for a breathtaking solo concert that celebrates twenty years since his Any Dream Will Do win landed him the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the very same theatre. Backed by a live band and featuring some surprise guests, he will perform two decades of music and memories, including songs from musical theatre classics like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, The Phantom of the Opera, Sister Act and Barnum, alongside the music of George Michael, Tony Bennett and Bruno Mars.
Born in Essex, Lee Mead secured the role of a lifetime when he won the BBC talent show Any Dream Will Do and went on to play Joseph, launching his career into dazzling success. Since then he has played Fiyero in Wicked, Emmett in Legally Blonde, Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Billy Flynn in Chicago (UK Tour), Khashoggi in We Will Rock You and Eddie Souther in Sister Act. Now, he returns to where it all began, celebrating the triumphs of his musical theatre career with a thrilling concert that revisits some of his greatest roles and some of our favourite pieces of musical theatre.
Don't miss this special concert, for one day only, that celebrates the milestone anniversary of a beloved West End star.
