Loserville in London
Geeks win the day with Loserville
Welcome to the World Premiere of Loserville, the brand new British musical by Elliot Davis and James Bourne. If you’re a dyed-in-the-wool geek you’ll love this show, with its focus on the weird and wonderful world of geekery. Who would have thought that dorks would one day rule the world?
Set in the 1970s with a cast of characters that are as fresh and relevant today, it features a contemporary score plus a set of behaviours and ideals that are as relevant today as they ever were. Once a geek, always a geek… and geek chic is the new rock ‘n’ roll!
Loserville - The story
It’s 1971. Things are grim. But the computer geek Michael Dork has invented something that will change the world forever. At the same time he discovers girls, which throws the cat amongst the proverbial pigeons. He finds the female sex almost as exciting as binary… but not quite!
Holly is a girl, a foreign species to geeks like Michael. She has brains. She’s great to look at too, and she has a formidable ambition: to win a position in the annals of history as the first female in space. Will she fall in love with Michael?
Then there’s Eddie, who is determined to get to the top as quickly as humanly possible no matter who he has to walk over along the way. And Leia, who is mad about Eddie. They’re all geeks, but they’re about to change the course of history forever, as well as changing the face of dating and fashion…
Smash hit show tunes by James Bourne and Elliot Davis

Not a review but a few things I liked. The staging was very different and the use of cardboard flap scenery original and it worked well. Having the band on stage was very good, also I liked the way they kept playing after the cast had left the stage.. It was a lovely touch knowing who everyone was with the cardboard credits. The humour was very amusing and in places clever.

See it!A funny, high-octane, feel-good show that was a delight (and we're "mature age" theatre-goers)

I love loserville & james bourne is so talentedAs a fan of james bourne, its such a great piece of work. I feel so proud that he put his talents to good use as they often aren't recognised. Teenagers would love it. Any busted, mcfly, son of dork fans should definitely go and see it. The story line is funny and entertaining, I got butterflies before the show I was so excited. Comendable musical, made me sad that its has a few bad reviews people need to lighten up and appreciate it for what it is. Acting and dancing was incredible. Thourghly enjoyed it!

LoservilleExcellent energetic fun show. Sound needs to be checked as at times the actors were competing against the base sound.

Loserville not a loser!Only a miserable old whatsit wouldn't enjoy this show. We went for my daughter's 14th birthday - she loves Glee and The Big Bang Theory and she thoroughly enjoyed this. It's so full of energy and has some great tunes (the band are fantastic!) and plenty of 'groany' jokes! Definitely worth a go.

Excellent new musical! We enjoyed Loserville a lot - some of the reviews we'd read had been a bit sniffy about the music but the songs were superb, as was everything else in this excellent production that in most respects knocks the spots off your usual Lloyd-Webber musicals. Quirky plot, great songs that I hope I'll be able to download soon and the actors were great - highly recommended!!
