First look images revealed for EVERY BRILLIANT THING at Sohoplace

First presented by Paines Plough at Roundabout at Summerhall in 2014, the widely popular, one-person play will make its West End debut at @sohoplace from August.

Performed by four exceptional actors, Lenny Henry (August in England, Bush Theatre) will open the season, followed by Jonny Donahoe (co-creator and original performer of Every Brilliant Thing), Ambika Mod (One Day, Netflix) and Sue Perkins (The Great British Bake Off, BBC).

Written by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe, Every Brilliant Thing follows a child making a list of every brilliant thing in the world for their mother, who is struggling with depression, spanning decades as it explores themes of mental health and resilience.

Every Brilliant Thing is designed by Vicki Mortimer with lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Tom Gibbons and casting by Jessica Ronane CDG.

Every Brilliant Thing will play at the @sohoplace from 1 August to 27 September 2025.
